We are a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with the primary aim of educating the children on Social and Emotional Wellness within the community. This initiative utilizes puppetry and Craft as a medium for behavioral change communication, addressing culturally challenging issues in a manner that is both effective and enjoyable for children.
Social and emotional wellness is essential for the holistic development of children. In our culturally diverse environment, children encounter various challenges that impact their emotional well-being and social interactions. Traditional teaching methods may not always effectively address these issues, particularly when cultural sensitivities are involved.
Puppetry and Craft however, provides a powerful alternative. It allows children to explore complex emotions and social situations in a safe, engaging, and relatable context, fostering empathy, self-awareness, boost their creativity, imagination and teaches them on problem-solving skills.
We believe that by doing this, we catch them young to develop better adults who will benefit society by instilling moral values in them.
The children we will be working with range in age from 3 to 12, including the children with special needs.
